The Changing Patterns for a More Positive Me Course will be held at venues across the Devon area. They are run by a skilled and experienced course facilitator and co-facilitator. Often a ‘survivor’ who has attended a previous course will also be in attendance to offer peer support too.
The course will support those who have been living in a controlling or abusive relationship and who are feeling isolated (both physically and emotionally), have low self esteem and struggling with setting boundaries. For some they may have lost hope in ever taking back the control of their life.
By attending every week of this course participants will start to pull together understanding of their past relationships and build new skills to move on into a positive future and relationships where they have more control and acceptable boundaries in place.
Any applicants that cannot make the commitment to attend the entire course would be better waiting until they are in a position where they can do so to ensure full benefit.

Applying for a place on one of the Pattern Changing Courses requires the delegate to talk through their application with a member of More Positive Me. This is to ensure that they fully understand the commitment required to attend all of the course, to confirm that they are no longer in a controlling or abusive relationship and to ensure that they are not likely to cause a risk for themselves, other course participants or the course facilitators. We also provide signposting for those not in the right place for the course.
