Changing patterns For A More Positive Me course runs for 4 full Fridays in a row, bringing this self development course right up to date and will be run by a skilled and experienced course facilitator and co-facilitator. Often a ‘survivor’ who has attended a previous course will also be in attendance to offer peer support too.
The course will support those who have been living in a controlling or abusive relationship and who are feeling isolated (both physically and mentally), have low self esteem and a possible pattern of abusive relationships. For some they may have lost hope in ever taking back the control of their life.
By attending every week of this course participants will start to pull together understanding of their past relationships and build new skills to move on into a positive future and relationships where they have more control and acceptable boundaries in place.
Applying for a place on one of the Pattern Changing Courses requires the delegate to talk through their application with a member of More Positive Me staff. This is to ensure that they fully understand the commitment required to attend all of the course, to confirm that they are no longer in a controlling or abusive relationship and to ensure that they are not likely to cause a risk for themselves, other course participants or the course facilitators.
Fridays in central Exeter – times will be confirmed on enquiry. Location confirmed on acceptance to the course
